How to get more 5-star Google reviews

Most happy guests never leave a review because nobody asked. Ask at the right moment, make it one tap, and the reviews come.

Step by step

  1. Ask right after a good meal. An hour or two after pickup, when the food was good and the guest is still happy.
  2. Send a thank-you text with a link. A short text from the restaurant by name, with a direct link to your Google review page.
  3. Make it one tap. Use your Google review link, not “search for us on Google”. Every extra step loses people.
  4. Ask everyone, not only fans. Google does not allow asking only happy guests or offering a reward for reviews. Ask everyone the same way.
  5. Reply to every review. Guests are more likely to review a place that answers. Thank good reviews; answer bad ones calmly.

Where to find your review link

In your Google Business Profile, look for “Ask for reviews” or “Get more reviews”. Google gives you a short link and a QR code you can print for the counter.

How EatFuti helps

How it works with EatFuti

  1. Run the free check. Three minutes, no sign-up. See your Google page, where your Order button goes and how your site does on a phone.
  2. Say yes. Send your photos and menu, or we take the menu from your POS or online. Online ordering is live 48 to 72 hours after signup.
  3. Your website goes up. Built for you from your photos, menu and reviews, right after ordering is live. You approve it before it goes up.

Questions owners ask

Can I give a discount for a review?

No. Google’s policy does not allow incentives for reviews, and the FTC rule bans buying reviews.

How many reviews do I need?

There is no magic number. Recent reviews matter, so a steady few a week beats a burst once a year.
