How to get repeat customers

Getting a guest to come back costs far less than finding a new one. Regulars order more often, try more of the menu, and bring friends.

Step by step

  1. Save every guest. Name, number and what they ordered. Without a list you cannot invite anyone back.
  2. Remember their usual. A guest who always orders the bun bo hue should hear about bun bo hue, not about a dish they never order.
  3. Reward coming back. Points toward a free appetizer give a reason to pick you again tonight.
  4. Invite them back on time. A “your usual?” text after about a month away brings back guests who simply forgot.
  5. Make reordering easy. One tap to order the last meal again. Fewer steps, more repeat orders.

Measure it

Look at how many guests ordered more than once in the last 90 days. If that number goes up month after month, your restaurant is growing in the healthiest way.

How EatFuti helps

EatFuti saves every guest who orders on your page with their usual dish and the hour they usually order, and invites them back at their own time. Rewards and reorder are built in on the Grow plan.

EatFuti is in Des Moines, Iowa, and works with independent restaurants across the United States, most of all in Iowa, Minnesota, Missouri, Kansas and Texas.

How it works with EatFuti

  1. Run the free check. Three minutes, no sign-up. See your Google page, where your Order button goes and how your site does on a phone.
  2. Say yes. Send your photos and menu, or we take the menu from your POS or online. Online ordering is live 48 to 72 hours after signup.
  3. Your website goes up. Built for you from your photos, menu and reviews, right after ordering is live. You approve it before it goes up.

Questions owners ask

What makes guests come back to a restaurant?

Good food, being remembered, and a small reason to come now: a reward close to done, a birthday gift, a favorite dish back on the menu.

Do loyalty programs work for small restaurants?

Yes, when they are simple: a clear reward a few visits away, with no card to carry.
