How to write an online menu that sells

On a phone, guests scroll fast. A clear menu with photos and best sellers on top turns more visits into orders.

Step by step

  1. Put best sellers first. A Popular section at the top with five or six dishes.
  2. Use clear names. “Bun Bo Hue (spicy beef noodle soup)” helps guests who do not know the dish.
  3. One-line descriptions. What is in it, spicy or not, size.
  4. Photos for popular dishes. Your own photos are fine. Keep the style the same.
  5. Short sections. Starters, noodle soups, rice plates, drinks. Not twenty sections.

Add-ons and options

Offer extras where they make sense: extra meat, a fried egg, a drink. Keep options short so ordering stays fast.
