Delivery vs pickup: which makes you more money?

Delivery brings orders you would not get otherwise. Pickup on your own page keeps the most of each order. Most restaurants need both.

Step by step

  1. Delivery on an app. Reaches new guests; costs the highest percentage.
  2. Pickup on an app. Usually a lower fee, but still a fee, and the guest belongs to the app.
  3. Pickup on your own page. No commission; card processing only; the guest is yours.
  4. Delivery from your own page. You set the delivery fee; drivers come from a delivery partner.
  5. Move regulars to pickup. Remind regulars that ordering pickup from your page is faster and often cheaper for them too.

EatFuti is in Des Moines, Iowa, and works with independent restaurants across the United States, most of all in Iowa, Minnesota, Missouri, Kansas and Texas.
