Step by step

  1. Before opening: Google Business Profile. Claim and verify it early, with the right category, hours and photos.
  2. Week 1: website and online ordering. Guests who hear about you will look you up. Give them a menu and an Order button.
  3. Week 1 to 2: photos and posts. Opening photos on Google, Instagram and Facebook. Your story and your best dishes.
  4. Week 2 to 3: first reviews. Ask every happy early guest for a Google review with a link.
  5. Week 3 to 4: start your guest list. Every guest who orders on your page is saved, so you can invite them back.

A real example

Pho Dee-Licious opened in Des Moines in September 2026 with an EatFuti website. Two weeks later it was in the top 3 on Google for “lao food des moines”. See phodeeliciousdsm.com.

EatFuti is in Des Moines, Iowa, and works with independent restaurants across the United States, most of all in Iowa, Minnesota, Missouri, Kansas and Texas.

How it works with EatFuti

  1. Run the free check. Three minutes, no sign-up. See your Google page, where your Order button goes and how your site does on a phone.
  2. Say yes. Send your photos and menu, or we take the menu from your POS or online. Online ordering is live 48 to 72 hours after signup.
  3. Your website goes up. Built for you from your photos, menu and reviews, right after ordering is live. You approve it before it goes up.

Questions owners ask

When should I set up my Google listing?

As soon as you have an address and opening date. Verification can take time.

Should I do a grand opening?

Yes if you can. Invite neighbors, local groups and media, and make sure your Google listing and ordering are ready first.
