Is a restaurant app worth it?

An app with your name on it is great for regulars and useless for first-time guests. Start with ordering in the browser, add the app when you have regulars.

Step by step

  1. First guests: no app. Nobody downloads an app before a first order. Ordering on your website and Google must work in the browser.
  2. Regulars: yes, an app helps. Weekly guests like one-tap reorder and seeing their rewards.
  3. Rewards inside. An app is the natural home for points and gifts.
  4. Your name on their phone. No list of other restaurants next to yours.
  5. Count the cost. With EatFuti the Brand App is $99 a month as an add-on, or included in Grow.

Website, POS and app

A simple test

If you have many guests who order every week or two, an app is worth trying. If most guests are new, put the effort into Google and your website first.

EatFuti is in Des Moines, Iowa, and works with independent restaurants across the United States, most of all in Iowa, Minnesota, Missouri, Kansas and Texas.

How it works with EatFuti

  1. Run the free check. Three minutes, no sign-up. See your Google page, where your Order button goes and how your site does on a phone.
  2. Say yes. Send your photos and menu, or we take the menu from your POS or online. Online ordering is live 48 to 72 hours after signup.
  3. Your website goes up. Built for you from your photos, menu and reviews, right after ordering is live. You approve it before it goes up.

Questions owners ask

Will guests download my app?

Regulars will, especially for rewards. New guests will not, and do not need to.

Is the app separate from online ordering?

It uses the same menu and orders as your online ordering.
